David de Hilster met official photographer for the movie at a samba presentation he was doing in Long Beach California. Lawrie Margrave<\/a> took a shine to taking photographs of the colorful costumes and kinetic presentations of SambaLa Samba School<\/a> and when director de Hilster saw the photos, he was hooked. It was an easy choice for him to choose Lawrie as the official photographer for the documentary.<\/p>\n\n\n
